I LOVE DEYOS! I've had it in my head all day. It's one of those songs that creep into your heart and only after having heard it so many times and taken them for granted do you fall for them. I really appreciate this song, but it took time. Signature Red was an instant favorite- Deyos took time. |

I LOVE PINBACK! I was looking for Zach's solo work because I've already gotten to hear Rob's stuff and both have unique sounds that I love!
Signature Red sounds like a truce, probably between two lovers who broke up, but I am not sure what "I seek control..." means. Maybe that's a question of reaffirming or gaining a sense of identity or self that he/she lost while in the failed relationship?
Maybe I'm wrong.
But I love this song: it's so chill, as I would expect from half of Pinback:D |

I love it, too:) I think it's about realizing that relationships sometimes end, maybe even badly. I think he's just showing this girl a good time, (I thought I'd entertain you), because even if her last relationship ended poorly, she doesn't have to be sad and lonely. She can enjoy a friendly fling. I think it's a lovely song and I particularly love "Congratulations" the instrumental version of this song. |
