Absolutely stunning song. The music, the lyrics is just mindblowing. Dani is amazing. To be able to write something as beautiful as this song about a topic like Elisabeth Bathory tells what a genious he is. He has written many absolutely magnificent lyrics but this is the best.

Twilight of the gods was supposed to be Bathorys last album. I think this song is about the heartcondition that Quorthon was born with and which later caused his much too early death. My interpretation of this song is that its a thank you song to all the friends that stood Quarthon by eventhough his heart could failure at any time. Just my thoughts, cheers
