This song makes me boogie every time I hear it. I certainly for writing lyrics for Raw Power, he was sitting snorting rocks of
Chinese heroin under an oak tree in Kensington Gardens,but with this song in particular,it seems a bit different. You can hear iggy control the group,coming and going as he pleases. I think it's unbefuckinglievable. I love the way he screams "BLOW STEVE" iniating the onslaught of sax. With Fun House, it's like iggy is conducting his orchestra of punk sax fusion (if that even makes sense). A truly original and unique record,a total one off piece of musicality that has changed my life forever.

I think has quite a few meanings :
I kinda think it is about prostution
I think it is about couples just fucking and not seeing the picture about love and enjoy the whole no strings attached
I also think it could be about two people who are crazy about each other but are afraid to admit it and they try to forget their emotions but then get pulled back into each other.
In no way am i saying im right its just what i think but i loveeeeeee this song so much. Reminds me of someone very close to my heart right now. I text her "throw your arms around me" as that is what she does everytime we see each other. This song reminds me of her so much it is unreal. In a way it gives me hope. I dunno how but i love it. She is great :) xxxxxxxxx |

i think this could be about a couple to be? like some guy is trying to get with this girl and he is a bit of a "jack the lad" and "talks a good game" and this girl is into him and he is leading her on? and he finally realises he feels for her too and the realisation of it all is when "these strange explosions hit me like a fist of light" and he has missed his chance with this girl "do you believe that i care?

I think this song is about a couple who had something in the past, but one of them did something to end the relationship and has completetly fucked them over and they have both moved on in their seperate ways. They then meet again and the person who fucked them over still feels for them and they wish they could have changed and wishes they still had what they used to x |

This has to be one of my top biffy songs. They are my favourite band ever. I think the song is about someone who is so highly strung and stressed and delusioned that they lost it and kill someone? Would love to hear responses! |
