My interpretation of this song is that he has fallen in love with a young girl and because of the age difference it is becoming harder and harder to find common ground. She has so much to learn but he can't teach it to her because he is on a whole different level. Maybe he is ready to settle down and she is to young to understand why and even want to. Ahhh! This whole album is the story of my life 2008-present. |

This song is so deep and true. Everytime I hear it I am brought to tears because it tells of a constant push and pull dealing with love. I had a relationship like this with a guy and I was so stupid. He was constantly trying and trying to get me to love him and I pushed away most of the time and only wanted him sometimes. I took so much from him. He took a lot from me. Damn. |
