Amazing song. I'm really enjoying all of the new songs off Big Whiskey. This song is cleary about love which is a very common theme for Dave.

This song is incredible, it is very rare for such an upbeat funky love song...but dave hit the nail right on the head!

the part with romeo and juliet, sounds like that water song from blue october (not sure of the name). anyways, i really dont like that part after hearing the other song, but the rest of the album sounds pretty good so far

just listened to this on pandora, and it's an amazing song...common theme with dave but new sound and almost feels like a different approach to it. love it.
This was the first song leaked to the public from Big Whiskey, I think. I remember a couple of months ago seeing a YouTube video of a few fans getting to listen to a track from the new album in studio. I think they played them Grux and Shake Me Like a Monkey. Anyway, it's an AMAZING song. I think it's my favorite track off the new album.
Again about sex. But it's upbeat and exciting and I just love it. Clearly.
At the amazing Hershey Park show (7/24/09), Dave said that this song was about masturbating uncontrollably and "monkey" was a reference to his penis.
