This song speaks to me so much. It's a beautiful song on it's own, Amy's voice makes it magical. But the music along with the lyrics blows this song out of the water for me. I agree that this song is about a relationship that needs to end but you know you could never bring your self to end it. I have a relationship like this =/ I don't think I could end it but I know I'd be so much better off. If only he would just be the one to walk away, I could move on. "But if you have to leave, I wish that you would just leave." |

I do really love this song. It explains me pretty well. Actually, I like the first half of the song before the bridge. Once it starts saying, "You give me hope, And hope it gives me life You touch my heavy heart, And when you do you make it light" is going a bit far for me. I mean, yes this does happen for some people. Maybe it's cause I haven't had this "divine intervention" from god yet that I feel like this is a stretch. I don't really know. But this song for the most part explains me. I love it :D |

Hmm, I shocked no one commented on this. I would expect some crazy Christian person to some on here and post about how stupid and crazy Mitch is for bashing the bible and what not. Nothing against Christianity but if you don't agree with what this song is about there isn't much need for you to come and post on here. I for one love this song. I don't technically hate the bible. The stories in them have good meanings behind them but that's it, they're just STORIES. They don't hold much for me except a good message in the end. I love Mitch's honesty. Suicide Silence is brutal :D |

Suicide Silence's lyrics are amazing. They always have such an important meaning. I get this one completely. It's so hard to loss a friend and loss your faith at the same time. From what Mitch has been through I get why he is Atheist. I really wonder sometimes. I'm quite on the fence on whether there really is a god or not. Situations like these are part of my reasoning. I feel like no matter how many times I ask for help, I get nothing. Idk really. |

This song is quite amazing. The lyrics are so truthful. He's talking about how no matter how much of a believer you are, you still have doubts sometimes. I get what he's saying. Believing in something invisible is hard to do. I believe there could be something out there but until I have solid proof in my mind, I'll have my doubts. Some of the religion bashing is a bit much in Suicide Silence's songs but it's whatever. They're still amazingly talented. The Fallen is an amazing song by them, It's explains why Mitch is so against god and it's a pretty good reason too. I get what hes saying. |
