Björk – Wanderlust Lyrics

This song is absolutely AMAZING!
Being from New Orleans, I always relate this song to how the city was after Hurricane Katrina.
The city was corrupt for a while, and many people moved away, searching for something better. The horns in the background also kinda remind me of New Orleans music.

Exactly right, GarettM. If I'm not mistaken, this song is secretly talking about chronic.
Dude, this song is the best. It got me calling ten dollar bills "Hamiltons". Love it! |

Rasputina – Incident In A Medical Clinic Lyrics

This is the first Rasputina song I'd heard, and it's still one of my favorites.
Before reading what it was about, it reminded me of Silent Hill. The line "Because of the way that they walk" reminded me of the strange way the nurses in the hospital walked, and the line "Because of the look in their eyes" seemed to me a reference to the fact that the nurses have no eyes.
Please don't take this review seriously. This is just what I thought of when hearing the song.

Wow. Lovely song.
We all have a little girl in our lives that we are reminded of when we hear this song. Makes me sad. |

When she sings the lyrics "you'll start believeing youre immune to gravity and stuff " I'm reminded of the scene in "Sid and Nancy" when Sid falls through the glass door. |

Radiohead – A Wolf at the Door (It Girl. Rag Doll) Lyrics

Um...maybe this song is actually about a wolf stealing children?
And all those other lyrics are just there to fill in. I dunno. I'm not very good at interpreting lyrics. Absolutely amazing, though. Love, love, love Radiohead! |

Radiohead – Climbing Up the Walls Lyrics

I always thought this song was sort of sad and innocent...that it, until I actually read the lyrics. I am so glad that my room has no windows. Thom just scared me a little.
Lovely song though. Reading the lyrics only made me love it more. The whole mental hospital idea makes sense, but you couldn't figure that out by listening to the song or reading the lyrics. When I first heard it, it reminded me of a zombie attack. I don't know why. |

Rasputina – Stumpside Lyrics

This is such a beautiful and chilling song, I absolutely love it!
As for the meaning, I think it's about someone who's seriously deformed. The line "Animals like me though folks turn away" seems to say how she's only able to talk to animals because she scares away people.
I'm not quite sure though. Much of the song doesn't seem to go with my idea on the meaning, so I might be wrong. Melora seems to enjoy confusing us with her lyrics. |
