I love how you wrote about it and agree with most of. It made great sense for me, didn't think of this song like this. But still , you had soem questions, and i'm proposing some things too. "It has no name, there's one for every season. Makes him insane to know" Maybe the first part is about moon. Moon has different seasons and they are all called differently. But it can also be about his sickness. It has no name, but his sickness has some different phases (Changing into a werewolf , being a werewolf , and chaning back to human) . Something with that maybe? And i think the reason he'll be safe on the cornfields is that he is afraid to hurt his wife (again). He's not afraid of werewolf hunters, but afraid to hurt her. And as she follows him, he tries to escape and lose her , because eventually, when he mutates , he wants to eat human. Makes sense maybe? :) |
