| Sean Lennon – Tomorrow Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| What a great song. It perfectly describes my relationship right now. This song is basically what I kept telling myself in the beginning of the break/break up, that I wanted to enjoy one last night together, and then tomorrow we would deal with whatever happened next. | |

Agreed, Tamu It sounds a lot like Lee Harvey Oswald because it talks about a pick-up truck and shooting from a window. And I've heard that Oswald committed the crime because he wanted to impress a lady friend of his... unless I have that mixed up with someone else. Anyway, I think it's an analogy to doing something passive aggressively after a break up too. The heart break in the beginning stanza could be the introduction to his motivation, then to him doing something (possibly to the other person) after things had settled a bit and/or after his Plan A failed. Then how other people react to his actions. But, I've only known the song for like 5 minutes. >.< |

| Soul Whirling Somewhere – You Stutter When You Sleep Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I love how chill this song is and how it reflects the calmness of watching someone sleep or listening to their pattern. Sleeping with someone is the best. | |

i agree with you Sunshineshine I also think it could be someone talking to a younger person that's worried about them, maybe a younger sibling? I love the way he sings it in this song, it's not very energetic but really reassuring and optimistic, giving the impression that he has it all figured out already. The best part to me, is the line "It's what you get when you try to educate a black sheep/You can't, you won't, you never will" |

Man, i simply adore this song. I wish they were on iTunes (god, how i hate being iTune's bitch) anyway, i think it's about his relationship (obviously i guess) but maybe the guy is trying to keep up looks with his friends and he's just reassuring the girl that he really does love her. |

SketchGreg, it sounds like you're being a dick. Saying "god made us and everything around us so he doesn't have to look after it all is like saying in a sense there is no God... we are all God" sounds a lot like Deism to me, it's just as 'unoriginal' as LSDMT's comment. Plus, it seems as if almost every religion has the "God is everyone!" concept. I think LSDMT was simply questioning who made god. also, also "i'd think that someone with the username LSDMT would be a little more open to understanding." but >You don't mean to be a dick. |

| Well, being Atheist doesn't mean you completely disbelieve that there's something God-like there, it's just a 99.9% chance that there isn't. | |
| Polarkreis 18 – Allein Allein Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I really like this song, the only negative part to me is the ending because it just keeps going. | |
| Two Door Cinema Club – Eat That Up, It's Good For You Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I'm not sure what the two decisions are in this song but i love how that makes it more open to interpretation. "When you're sky high fighting off the space ships" makes me think that the subject is on drugs. "Drinking in your room" makes me think of an alcoholic (in an extreme situation) or maybe just a lonely person who's trying to make it through a hard time. "I tried to find a quiet place that we could go/to help you make decisions" maybe it's a good friend that can see both sides of a story clearly. "It didn't end too soon" indicates some sorta relationship either material/emotional/physical, maybe a bad one since "It didn't end too soon". I think the last part of the song is the best though, it's always comforting to know someone will catch you. Brilliant band. |

| Modest Mouse – King Rat Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Third stanza, the first line, "We choked on street tap water" should prolly be "We choked on straight tap water". It's one of my favorite lines in this song, so I hope it's right. | |

i'm pretty sure it's: So if I'm wrong again, I apologize You can take a guess, I'll check on my eyes It's a common thing, to be out of line But it's getting old, by the fifteenth time |

I love this song! The passion pit's remix's pretty interesting too. I really wonder what this song is about. At first i thought it would be about an undercover agent but maybe it's about a past love? "She spoke words that would melt in your hands/She spoke words of wisdom" maybe he was betrayed? maybe Martyn's some sort of addict or dealer? "Cause you're not up to going/out on the main streets, completing your mission". anyway, it's a wicked song |

To me it sounds like he was involved in a relationship in which the girl was depressed and he tried to keep her holding on to life. This might be an extreme view though because it said she 'ran away' in the first stanza. "I tried to hold her/keep her in my arms/she was so cold/and when she smiled I felt/my heart was torn apart" sounds like she passed away and he was heartbroken. "But I didn't see the sadness in her eyes." Also, "I'd send her letters if I had the chance/but there'll be no reply," possibly supports my idea. interesting song either way. |
