The first time I heard this song I loved it, it's such a beautiful song, I personally don't think it's about anorexia. I think it's about drug abuse or it could be alcohol, this song makes me think of someone who was abused and turned to alcohol and drugs and everyone around her tried to help her and all she ever did was push them away.
Till one day she found a little bit of something she used to drown.
the line: 'She said "I'm alive and I am free, but you see I have control over me."'
she found this substance that help her get away the pain and it makes her feel alive and it make her feel as if she has control of something because she is getting abused.
'will you draw the line'
when will she say enough is enough, it shows that the singer has a strong relationship with this person weather it be a friend or even a sister and cares very deeply for this person and she trying to help and she doesn't understand how she could get to the point of throwing her life away by abusing alcohol and drugs. when will she really take a hold of her life and listen to the ones around her. |

I think this song is in two parts, first verse about a divorce and then the second verse sounds like an abusive relationship or an pregnancy, maybe both. I think that they connect into the chorus, by that they are the events that trigger their outlook on life.
"And you'll never know, you will never see with virgin eyes again"
"This is the day that everything changes"
I think this means that what you once knew is totally lost and so you have a new perspective on the situation and it's shaped by a revaluation coursed by a event. It has changed for the better and that they have finally 'woken up'. The song is say 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' and that you'll learn and grow from mistakes and that they will ultimately shape you into how you are.

I think this song is about the world today with all the destruction and sin, and the conspiracy is all the influences in the world and how they shape you, everyone is getting sucked in but the ones on the outside are fighting it and the truth is escaping but people on the inside want to keep it quiet, they don't want people to know the truth because it's far fetched and believe it's better not to know when in actual fact it's better if they do. |

this is one of my favourite songs, its so beautiful and well written, i dont think it has to be about a romantic relationship i mean it could be about anything, but the main concept is that they took something that was so great and 'perfect' and stuffed it up. |
