great song... i like the sea and cake a lot and this is by far their best song in my opinion... i think no matter how shitty of a mood i was in this song would chill me out... i think theres a few mistakes in the lyrics though im pretty sure its supposed to be "living on the east side tired of the sun coming up living on the west side tired of the sun going down" which is my favorite line in the song |

i know im kind of late getting on board with ssup but i had been introduced to their more recent music awhile back and thought it was okay but nothing too spectacular... then i heard pikul which i think really gets pushed under the rug and deserves a lot more recognition... anyway i totally agree with what u said about the second chorus of this song after the interlude when he screams no shrieks out the lines starting with "well someone said i made a mistake..." it totally gives me goosebumps and i think is the high point of any of their songs... i also live in omaha and wish i had had the opprotunity to go see that acoustic show |
