I absolutley LOVE this song. Her voice sounds so beautiful, especially on the part where she says "your own dreams." The piano and music is amazing. This song explains my life so well! Esp. the bridge. Here it is, line by line: "Whoops, I think I got too close, 'Cause now he's telling me I'm the girl that he likes most" This has hppened on numerous occasions with me. I find a friend that's a guy, I hang out with him for a while, and then two months later, he tells me he likes me. And I'm like, "whoops, um, I just wnated to be friends. " But then I start thinking, "hmmmm I wonder what it would be like to kiss them..." and then I want to kiss them but not date or anything else. "Now I've messed up, It's not the first time" Like I said, it's happened on numerous occasions. Maybe, seven times? If you count that one guy, then ya, seven now. That "Always" part at the end just shatters my heart. I write "Always," at the top of all my papers. It just means so much. When Severus says it, he isn't just admitting to loving Lily, he's saying that he always will love her, always has, and he shows us a softer, more beautiful side. I've always thought this song was more of a long distance relationship thing, or maybe that's just how I want to see it that way. Anayways, it sems to me more like a thing where he usually comes to visit her and the "should ever we meet on your side of the stereo" part was if she ever came to his place and saw his friends and all that. When she isn't around him, she smooths over the bumpy parts and he seems so perfect, even though hes really not. She has a song on repeat that reminds her of him, and feels as though she can hear his heartbeat. This might not be right, but its how i see the song so, ya. |

OK, call me crazy, but I always thought that it was "good boys" instead of "hood boys" and Geddy was just saying ti weird like he does with Tam Sawyer (Tom Saw-yee). I also thought it was six o'clock news, but you know, I'm not the world's greatest Rush authority. Anyways, I agree with Everyday Glory- Geddy sounds hilarious saying "gansta." This was one of the first Rush songs I ever actually listened to- my dad had always played the CDs in the car but I never really paid attention until I was 12. Then I listened to the lyrics and I fell in love with them immediatley. Anyways, I absolutley love this song and Geddy and Alex and Neil and I hope you all have an awesome day. |

I think thi is suppossed to be ironic.
