I had to put my dreams on hold because I had a kid. Try to raise a child on a musician's pay, not all of us in music enjoy the same success as Metric. I would love to hold on to that lifestyle but I love to be able to feed my children more. Having a normal job became a necessary evil. Don't knock those people that got stuck because they had to prioritize for survival. If I never had my first child so young I would probably still live that old way and enjoy it, but I can't imagine being without these little guys ever. |
