"The band's name is taken from the title of a song written by Anton and Dima during the beginning of their collaboration. The song was about a boy who could conduct electricity. Since he couldn't control his gift, he hurt people who came too near to him." Quoted from the Tesla Boy wiki. In the music video they are wearing latex suits (Doesn't conduct electricity) So yes it's about sex, but it's also refering to the origin of the band name and possibley the story about the boy. Maybe he found a girl who was just as electric that he could make love to all night? |

This song can be seen as quirky and sweet, and also haunting about hallow dead end relationships.. When I heard the song for the first time it was earlier tonight when my bf was singing along to it on a beautiful drive back home from an art class. "whats broken can always be fixed whats fixed will always be broken " I think this is too broad to be about just a dead end relationship because I as a person had a not so happy childhood and being with this wonderful guy.. No matter what I do.. I will always be broken. I will be fixed. But always be broken. I got teary eyed when I heard those lyrics and the song in every way is just it's a wonderful reflection of love and life. And hopefully my boyfriend will be around long enough to take me to the ER for getting hurt from his affection. :) I'll try to avoid avocados! |
