here's what pete said in an interview posted by chevelle on their site chevelleinc.com about this song,'Sleep Apnea' is really talking about our lack of sleep we get out on the road, written pretty tongue and cheek." So this should help out. |

easily my favorite song on the cd along with this circus, i know it sounds crazy but when i listen to this it sounds to me like he's talking about being abducted by aliens or something along those lines, it would go along with the album title at least, i know its a reach but oh well, its only after a few listens. i dont know how you got anything out of the part when he says "escape like an animal" because the animal part just sounds like mumbling to me but it seems to fit so good job. |

anybody got a thought on what the meaning is.. cause i'm kinda lost.. which i think is a good thing... i agree with beiselb this is their most lyrical album yet... its very difficult to get a read on what his meanings are behind his songs, unlike past albums. |
