| Farewell Continental – Dagger, Dagger: Terror Terror Lyrics | 14 years ago |

No comments? Wow... I find this song to be a sequel to "Do You Wanna Tangle?", mainly because of the 'injured soul' line. I see it as the girl does not want to 'tangle' (see the chorus) and ends the relationship although she is skeptic about it and feels deep guilt for it ('the harshest word I ever spoke', 'I wish i may, I wish I might not have to sleep alone tonight'). The guy still loves the girl and feels he needs her ('I need you here'). I dunno, that's how I see it. |

It's about the current war. All the young adults going to war for the "glory" of fighting for their nation. But they've been blinded by all the lies of: "Go out to war and see the world" and "Fight for your nation". Lines that could support my interpretation: "Go forth child; make us proud Honor is yours; underground Know we love you, lay you down" "Welcome to the world you see An AK with a couple magazines" "The letter to a mother from across the sea The son in a box buried beneath" |

I'm pretty sure "Since I’ve taken your footsteps" should be "Steps I take in your footsteps". Amazing song. |

| In my opinion, the song is about coming of age. It's about htting the point in your life where you have to decide what to do with your life. The subject of the song is trying to decide what to do with his life and is looking for influence. | |

| This is song is exactly what I want to sing to my friend's girlfriend, who has been annoying the crap out of me and my other friends. | |

| The song is about the singer telling a girl that she isn't the one he wants to settle down with. | |
| Linkin Park – Shadow Of The Day Lyrics | 15 years ago |

I think this song is about suicide. I close both locks below the window. I close both blinds and turn away. Sometimes solutions aren't so simple. Sometimes goodbye's the only way. Referring to "goodbye" as in ending your life. And the sun will set for you, The sun will set for you. And the shadow of the day, Will embrace the world in grey, And the sun will set for you. The sun setting, metaphorically saying that your life (the sun) and it's ending (setting) Pink cards and flowers on your window, Your friends all plead for you to stay. Sometimes beginnings aren't so simple. Sometimes goodbye's the only way. The person was possibly feeling suicidal before hand, and that's where the cards and flowers come in. |
