apologies, that's still slightly wrong.here's the correct: The end. Destruction burns. Fear pumps through the faithless. Desolation is in the air. This is our station. The weak, the corrupt. It dies. Before our eyes it dies. As far as the eye can see: only destruction. Is it hopeless? What can be done? Chorus Is it too late? Are we too late to save ourselves? We’re living in, in a dead world. Crying out for a change. What can be done? Each day, we slip further away. On the edge of ruin. It won’t be long before we succumb. Is it hopeless? What can be done? Chorus It’s so cold, and with no joy, blame ourselves. Now this is a fight, because there is little left to hold on to. And to beg forgiveness, for when in blindness, now I can see. Chorus II It’s not too late, oh, not too late to save ourselves. It’s not too late, oh, not too late to save ourselves. |

Correct lyrics: The end. Destruction burns. Fear pumps through the famous. Chorus It’s so cold, and with no joy, we must save Ourselves. Now this is a fight, because there is little left to hold on to. And to beg forgiveness, for when in blackness, now I can see. Chorus II It’s not too late, oh, not too late to save ourselves. It’s not too late, oh, not too late to save ourselves. |

I think there are some strong christian overtones in here, as with many KsE songs. All the screamed vocals, I believe explore what life is like for those who do not know God and do not feel the inner peace of a christian. Not neccesarily how it feels, but how life will end up: 'dying the slowest death'. I believe the clean, melodic vocals show how life is and will end up for christians, and it generally just concisely explores the idea of peace and simply breathing in calmly, knowing that you're not alone. The blunt, final fate of non-believers is conveyed in the bridge section 'from dust you were born, into the ashes you'll return' |

I'm wondering whether it's about mourning a death or a break-up. 'It should've been me' and 'I wish I was strong as you were in the end'. I think this is really compassionate and shows that they're willing to die for that person and also showing that he believes that his partner was very strong as they were slowly killed by some sort of medical issue i guess. Although the line in the chorus 'drifting from your memory' messes that theory up and explores the idea of a relationship slowly drifting apart rather than death. So it's hard to decide really. |

| I think they placed this song in as a chance to reflect over what is, arguably, the most emotional and spinetingling song on the album; Rose of Sharyn. After being overwhelmed by the end of the rose of sharyn I think the transition into this acoustic beauty is very powerful and really gives you a chance to reflect on all the sharyn sadness =/ | |
