To me it seems more of 'a cautionary tale' of why to be kind to your mom when she's wanting you to eat your collard greens, a sort of joke song, like wehat a dad would tell his kid "your mom worked hard for the money to buy you this food so you better eat it" or like those "there are people starving in other counties out there so you can at least eat your broccoli" type things. |
