Okay, so I think this song is about a one-sided relationship. The narrator sleeps with the other person, and learns that he wants more, but the girl doesn't. I believe the "chemistry set" may be alcohol. The girl is using the narrator for his "looks and cigarettes," and he is jealous of the guy that the girl is with. But hey, that's just my thoughts(: really good song. |

This is a great song. It's pretty self explanatory. I feel like it's about a girl who is with people, just so she can say she's in love. The narrator is telling her that she doesn't need it, and she is above this. Inside, the girl really just wants someone who loves her, but she's blinded and lets people take advantage of her, just to leave her. In the end, she learns. This song is awesome, and so is the new album. Mayday Parade has yet to disappoint me. |
