Beautiful song, the lyrics are just pure poetry. And I don't think it's satirical... Yeah, could be, but I really don't think so, it's very honest and emotional. You just can't say: "My spirit ran to greet you/before my feet left the porch" and be satiric. Yeah, sometimes it sounds too pompous, but that's how we feel when we're in love. You just worship your boyfriend (girlfriend ;) )... |
