Well it's pretty clear that the singer has a different meaning about something than other people. Perhaps he is in doubt about something according to relationships.. He thinks he is jealous and isn't able to love or just isn't in love. And other people are like: Don't worry, love will come! Just be patient, you will start to have those feelings once :) "Let your love grow tall!" But he doesn't agree, he thinks they are stupid "I'll pray for them" .. Though I'm not sure at all. I didn't like this song that much, I just thought: "Hmn, nice bells.." But now I've seen the Gossip Girl eposide 13 with the seen with Chuck and Blair, where they use this song, I fell in love with it. This song finally got a content for me, I got this image in my head and the song goes so well with it. I think this song is about a men who's dearly missing he's former lover. She died and it almost sounds like he never got to say goodbye to her. He's been living a high life and now it's finally all clear that he could have seen this dead coming. Perhaps he's feeling guilty? |
