there is a HUGE difference between "country" and a little twang on an electric guitar: country means banjo, campfire, here have a s'more sweety!; twang just means twang. i really like the sound. it's different. the entire album is diverse and changed. you can tell they're experimenting. kinda sick of EVERY time a band changes ANYTHING the public assuming it has to do with them 'selling out'. ever hear of a thing called change? the band is growing and changing. maybe it's time the fans moved with them? and if not, oh well. this is where they want to go. as they're the ones making the music, it's hardly our right to criticize... |
