Its definately about Fred. Capital M-E is so harsh though, I hate it. |

Yeah, I agree, I really think it's about losing John and Fred with the line "lost not one, but two friends". And about his arrogance and stubborness driving them out of the band. |

Adam and Fred did a kerrang acoustic session in 06' when they played this they said what it was about. It's about Adam and his ex-girlfriend; when they were together they bought tickets to see Coldplay and once they broke up they still went together and it was a long drive, which was awkward etc. Thats exactly what it's about. |

Does he burn down his friends house too? I thought he was just getting found out about burning his house down? |

Theres so much wrong. The song ties in with the concept of the album. In this song his "best friend" is saying the chorus as in the booklet its in italics. Its where he knows but he's waiting for his friend to tell him how he's been cheating with the mans wife. Pretty self explainatory in an awesome way. Amazing album. |

| This is the first in the story. But you actually find out later he burned down the house himself. The only confusing thing for me is why he burned it down, because I thought it was in "Vices" that he found out his wife was cheating? Anybody know? | |
