Also heard this song from that site. This song took on a whole new meaning a few weeks later when a girl that I had been "wasting time on" crushed my heart, but that's another story. The version on the YTMND site doesn't have the more upbeat ending, which I discovered about the time I started getting over her. Interesting to know now that the girl in the song is a metaphor. |

No comments about this song? Really? I take this as his ego having a hard time accepting his personal failures, but also as him realizing that he is who he is due to the many influences around him. And then again, maybe that's just another way of him shifting blame from himself. |
