| Home Grown – I'll Never Fall In Love Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| How are all of the lyrics for this band so far from correct? | |
| Home Grown – Kiss Me Diss Me Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| "tramua girls" doesn't even make sense. It's "troubled girls." | |
| Home Grown – Give It Up Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| These lyrics are so wrong, but this band is so old, I'm not going to bother. | |
| Home Grown – I Love You, Not Lyrics | 16 years ago |
"i love your butt (oh baby)" is supposed to be "I love your bod (Oh Johnny)" Oh Johnny is referring to John Tran, the asian dude that sings on this song. His nickname is John "John E. Trash" Tran. It's a song about being friends with benefits. She wants a relationship, he most definitely does not. |

I can't believe how incredibly wrong this list is (On pretty much all other lyric sites too). This is my favorite lyric site though, so let's get it right on here. =) This song is actually a sort of a tribute/remake of "Ghetto Shout Out" by Parris Mitchell(He's named in the song). ** See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P8nCeweu9w&feature=related ** A large number of these are Chicago Djs, all of them are major influences to Daft Punk. There are only three of these people that I either didn't change or couldn't find information on. I'm also not 100% sure on Brian Wilson, but I don't know which other Brian wilson they would be talking about. |

| Dr. Dre – Xxplosive Lyrics | 16 years ago |
All the true gangstas know They ain't never love no hoe Should be: All the true gangstas know, Nate ain't never loved no hoe. It's Nate Dogg rapping about himself. Same thing with "They ain't passin nuttin but dope indeed..." It should be: "Nate ain't passin' nothin' but dope indeed" There are other minor mistakes too, but this one I could't let go. |

| jj – From Africa to Málaga Lyrics | 16 years ago |
It's not easy to die No matter how down you are, you eventually rise If not today then maybe tomorrow. also, the following line is incorrect: This is the chance for one last glance at why. I'm not sure exactly what it says. Something about romance. Awesome song. |

This song is so incredible. It's pretty obvious what the song is about. |

| Band of Horses – Part One (Savannah) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This is how I hear it: To the bottom dear I had to fall, but you really caught me. You really caught me dear, at the bottom where I fall. And slowly dear, asked would you dance with me. Here's the shades down, the lights off When I didn't know you and everything I do done badly. Now I'll love you always. Even when i say,"You distract me." And sit out tonight in some strange place if we have no friends here. Well I had a few to begin with. To wake next to you in the morning and good morning to you. How do you do? A good morning to you! And more covers for you. Sleep soundly dear 'cause I have to go. Yeah I'll love you always. And when we leave this place and drive back to carolina and down to savannah and stay. This song always reminds me of someone that I know. <3 |

| Jack Johnson – Traffic In The Sky Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song has nothing to do with 9/11. It's more about how depressing urban sprawl is. Go to a big city and tell me that it isn't slightly depressing to see what we've done to the world. | |

| Electric President – We Will Walk Through Walls Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I'll put parenthesis around all of my corrections: So you've found your (stomping) grounds Make a fist and tear 'em down Wash your face get all the blood Off (bare) your teeth and make them run (We) were made to take (you) down Change of heart (go) sleep it off Find the holes and patch them up Time is (out), (go) change the locks We will walk through walls Yeah, we'll walk through walls this way (I'm not 100% sure, but I always thought this said "I swear" instead of "this way" it makes more sense to me with the ending saying "I promise you" they coorelate in that sense) Count the cracks across your face Squint your eyes pretend they're gone Change of heart go mow the lawn These tiny fists can't save the world (We) were made to take you down Change of heart (go) sleep it off When you (climb) you're bound to (fall) What goes up just goes away We will walk through walls, my dear I promise you We will walk through walls, my dear I promise you We will walk through walls, my dear I promise you And we will walk through walls, my dear I promise you |

| Electric President – Bright Mouths Lyrics | 16 years ago |

One more, haha. We're always waiting smells but they're never what they seem You run when you're awake but they still kill ya when you dream IS: "They're always wearing smiles, but they're never what they seem. You can run when you're awake but they'll still kill you when you dream." |
| Electric President – Bright Mouths Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Also, Now it's fine your hopes you're just like us Yeah, you're just like us It's fine your prayers you're broke like us Yeah, you're broke like us Should be: Now, despite your hopes you're just like us Yeah, you're just like us Despite your prayers you're broke like us Yeah, you're broke like us |
| Electric President – Bright Mouths Lyrics | 16 years ago |
The first line doesn't make sense "I see you in my head and eye" I'm pretty sure it's "I see you in my head at night" |
| Hot Chip – Playboy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
The Lyrics are: April, the cruelest month I reckon this March could be a contender This fits much better when followed by "There's only so much sorrow a man can take" The fact that April-March(Almost a full year) can be cruel and there's only so much sorrow you can take. e.g. A whole year of sorrow "I reckon this much could be a contender" just doesn't make sense to me at all. ALSO: "Know how I dig you on?" SHOULD BE: "I know how I did you wrong." It fits with the preceeding line: No more is this a taste I want to savor. He's feeling regret and he wants to stop being a playboy. He knows he treated someone like crap. |

| The Go Find – Dictionary Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I have a few corrections to the lyrics here. These are the words as I hear them on the album version. =) There's something in the way the words come out of your mouth, they seem to come out so slow. You're a dictionary without an ending, The book that I like to read 'Cause you, are always in-between lies. But we don't want to be a part of what you're up to. So, what are you? You're the good stuff. But we don't buy that anymore, so please just let us. There's something in the way your stories break me, I feel like I really understand. You're the dream that I would like to sleep through, the page that I don't want to turn. 'Cause you, are always in-between lies But we don't want to be a part of what you're up to. So, what are you? You're the good stuff. But we don't buy that anymore so please just let us. So, What are you? You're the good stuff. But we don't want to be a part of what you're up to. |

| Metric – Stadium Love Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Everything is correct in SadXuHuang's version of the lyrics except one line(in two spots): "Guess you thought, you couldn't just watch" Should be: "Guess you thought, you could just watch" It goes along with the next line that no one's getting out without stadium love, which is a battle that involves everyone and everything. 'Couldn't' doesnt make much sense in the context of the sentence. This song is rad as hell. |
| The Shins – A Comet Appears Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Two thing that I'm pretty sure are wrong[listen closely to the album version]: One hand on this wily comet, take a drink just to give me some weight. Some uber-man; I'd make up barely a vapor (This has essentially the same meaning as how it's written here, except it would be expressed more the way I hear it.)(He feels as if he's worthless) But with each turn, it stays front and center. Like a dart stuck square in your eye. (Makes way more sense if it's 'Stays front and ceter' because he's turning to avoid it, but it's stuck right in the middle of everything like if a dart were stuck square in your eye.) -Both of these lines make much more sense this way. |
| Tub Ring – Habitat Lyrics | 16 years ago |
The second to last line: a place for everything, and everything had it's place. should be: a place for everything, and everything has it's place. I love this song. I opened for this band a long time ago and I've been in love with Zoo Hypothesis ever since. |
| Slow Club – It Doesn't Always Have to Be Beautiful Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I forgot to mention that this song is simply amazing. | |
| Slow Club – It Doesn't Always Have to Be Beautiful Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Like listening to the thunder of your heart And how with every other beat we grew further apart Love is always going to be hard to you both Never thinking that you'll ever love anyone else as much Should read: Like listening to the thunder of your heart And how with every other beat we grew further apart Love is always going to be hard to give up Never thinking that you'll ever love anybody else as much |
| The Whitest Boy Alive – Courage Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure the third line is "What my intentions have been today" | |
| The Whitest Boy Alive – Don't Give Up Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Why did you change the lyrics to "You want to live when life is sakenly unfair"? It should be "You want to live when life is achingly unfair" both times. This song is absolutely amazing. |
| The Whitest Boy Alive – Gravity Lyrics | 16 years ago |
It really sounds like he is saying "physically threatening the responsible alien" Doesn't make much sense to me, but that's what I hear. |
| The Whitest Boy Alive – Intentions Lyrics | 16 years ago |
It sounds like he's saying: hey, you can't own me don't let that be a reason not to stay hey, you can't own me don't let that be a reason to run away |
| St. Vincent – Marrow Lyrics | 16 years ago |
The transition from the intro into the frist H-E-L-P is so amazing. These extremely distorted guitars come out of nowhere, completely unexpected. CORRECTION*** If you could only go somewhere else Should be If you only could go somewhere else |
