This song is amazing. Probably my favorite by Electric President. I know a lot of Electric President's song are about dreams, But for some reason it reminds me of a failed relationship.

I may be projecting, but I feel like the singer's lover sold out to corporate america and failed / was scape-goated for a failure. In other words, the singers lover sold out to support them, but the fact that things went bad in business was not the actual reason things went to shit between them. The real reason was that the lover lost his passion and became bitter.

Somehow this makes me think of politics.
To begin with, a failed candidate sold out by his party, but in losing can craft the narrative as he fails:
