This song is, quite literally, about drugs. His "crutch" is what he refers to the drug as, as means of support. He is dealing with some sort of emotional pain, and this crutch helps him, or so he thinks, with his healing through this ordeal. This was really more of a shot in the dark, if anyone wants to correct me, feel free to do so |

i hear them singing alot about a rescue or something, so maybe one of the members is somehow affiliated with emergency services, be it a family member, or a friend. i haven't read about it, so i dont know. but if this was so, i'd say its about that persons family...

this was the first song i heard from rise against, or it was Like The Angel. it was because i had the game Burnout 3, and this song was on it. i also had tony hawk underground and liek thie angel was on it, but i forget how it went chronologically. fucking awesome song, band, ect. ect. |
