This song is obviously about ending a relationship with someone, and with her/him not thinking that ending it is the right thing to do, as they want it to work, but the other half saying how they think its the best thing to do, as they no longer feel anything for them, 'and when i told her her kisses were not like before', and as someone else has caught their eye 'and when i told her another girl had caught my eye', and how they would both be better off this way. great song! |

Love the new direction the horrors have taken, the Neu! Krautrock inspired work, its amazing. i agree with VinceNoir, i think this song is about taking a different route from others, of being alone and not always thinking its the right choice, but knowing you had to do it, and also having someone else join him on this path, possibly a relationship. 'So you might say the path we share is one of danger and of fear until the end' this suggests that the person has joined them, and that they are on that path alone together, knowing its dangerous, but being on it together til the very end. GREAT SONG! |
