"Several years ago I wrote a song called “Things Left Unsaid.” It was a song about my experience with my grandfather’s unexpected death. The song tells the story of my sadness and regret for not saying the things I should have said to him while he was alive. The song “Eternity” is written as if I had the chance to have that final conversation with my grandfather, and what he would have said back to me. Johnny said he went back to the neighborhood he grew up in and he said this song is about going back home but it not being home because of how much things change over time. Really great song |

Actually its NOT about his dad. At the Wilkes-Barre show a few days back, which I saw a vid of it on youtube. John says it is about an obsessive relationship, not like father-son but like boyfriend-girlfriend. But It does sound like it would be about his dad, it makes sense but thats not what its about though |

I saw a video on youtube from Detroit and they played this song and before playing it John said this song was about a man who lost his job, and was embarrassed about it, but he was grateful that he got to come home to a family who still loved him even though he isnt doing as great as he was. Really touching song. |

According to Joe, which I read on a FAQ of the band. The song is in fact a song about a drug addiction. SOme people think it is a love song but it is, in fact, about a drug addiction. |
