| KingJelle is correct, I think. And I believe it is less environmentalist/anarchist; this is simply farewell to an almost childhood-like friend. It makes me, personally, think about this old community center near where I used to live. Me and my friends used to hang out there, but I went back a few years ago and found that they had torn it down. Same feelings of loss, but inevitable loss, kind of mixing. | |

Wanda was his dog? I did not even know! This song has such an innocently drifting feel of relief for me, like getting home from the hospital after a car accident or a breakup. Where you're feeling a little depressed but also just tired, or weary. |

I read somewhere about this being the inevitable fall of capitalism? Killing bankers and uniting people sounds communist to me I guess? But I guess DaFace has a pretty good interpetation. At least with the pipe dreams part. I wasn't aware that A Silver Mt Zion was a "gettin stoned" kind of band (although I could understand how someone might think that). |
