The Dear Hunter – Deny It All Lyrics 13 years ago
No, this was from the Color Spectrum EP series, they have nothing to do with the story in 'The Dear Hunter' Acts.

Ever since people found out about his past addiction, everyone has been saying every song is about it... That doesn't obviously reference anything specific, just mistakes made in life in general.

That. and I swear that all I hear is 'imagine here's a battlefield'. I me;an, I can clearly hear it now, but before that I could not. Though, I have to say, I do prefer battlefield there.

I'm pretty positive that GotMeNow is on the right track. Here is where I think that he is a bit off. He didn't directly kill her in a car accident, in fact, he wasn't even in the car. I think she left after a fight or something and wasn't paying attention. I think you can figure out the rest. So the singer still feels guilty about even that.

The Receiving End Of Sirens – The Race Lyrics 16 years ago
So take my hand, no, not to hold
cause you could use the extra fingers to count your mistakes.

Wow, one of the greatest lines in any song I've heard. And I've heard a ton of music, so that says something.

The Receiving End Of Sirens – Saturnus Lyrics 16 years ago
Well, it probably means than just simply sex.
Also, there is a line missing in these, in the ending, it goes:

Of the words I've heard but rarely think
My god my heart has gone to hell, but I've found the well
It's mine all mine

Soto is exactly right, those are not the right words at all.

Thrice – The Lion and the Wolf Lyrics 16 years ago
Considering that Aesop's story is about two thieves, I believe that the similarities between the two (song and story) are purely coincidental. Because I'm pretty sure that the song has nothing to do with thieves.

Thrice – Oh! Darling Lyrics 16 years ago
Its not that they didn't sing this, they have, I have personally heard this (and Helter Skelter, for what its worth) in concert. The thing is, they didn't write it, its a cover of the Beatles.

Cry of the Afflicted – A Scar Filled Sky Lyrics 16 years ago
While your explanation is pretty funny broken, I have to disagree.
I've not listened to these guys for very long, but I guess that they are a christian band judging by some of their other songs. So...

I think that the first few lines have to do with the end of the world as said in Revelations. I dont know much about it, but it sounds like that's what it is.
and I believe the second stanza to be this:
Not far from here, a place prepared - I guess he means his place in Heaven made for him.
Can't find my way, send up a flare - Now he is asking for the way to get there.
Open the sky - Either referring to when Jesus descends from Heaven, or asking to open the sky so he can see heaven. Based on the first lines meaning the events in Revelations, I'm guessing its my first idea.
Show me the way though twilight - Back to what I said, asking for the way to heaven.
