| Susan Boyle – Who I Was Born to Be Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I really need an album jacket and to poste all these lyrics. Susan needs more comments on songmeanings! Anyway, she really is an inspiration. I think every human has the need to be loved, and acknowledged. Not that everyone needs to achieve rock star level status in order to attain this. You can be be recognized for being awesome among your own inner circle of peers! Susan Boyle deserves all her crazy success, and she serves as a fabulous, unconventional example that we should always keep our minds and hearts open! Susan, you rock. |

| Erykah Badu – Window Seat Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
A mess of contradictions. Lady wants her space, and she doesn't. Like what you say, LoveEpiphany. The desire to ascend. She's evaluating what's important, and taking a breather. But life is always in motion. I like the lyrics. It's refreshing. Who doesn't want a window seat, and a ticket out of town sometimes. |

I remember being on a road trip in a part of country with no radio reception. The only CD in the car was Blues Traveler's Four. God stuff! Perfect opportunity to narrow down my top 3 off the album, and this is one of them. It's always going to be the “I like coffee, I like tea” song! Intelligent, and very catchy. Definitely a brainworm! |

How fantastic for Ms. Susan Boyle. I hadn't really been paying much attention to her enormous hype until I happened to come across a copy of her I Dreamed A Dream album. Amazing !Her music really speaks for itself. it does all the talking! I had the shivers. My favorite off the album is her interpretation of Wild Horses. I'll post lyrics as soon as I get my hands back on the liner notes. Her voice has this youthfulness, and richness that is just glorious. How nice it is to see a story like Susan's. She didn't set limitations for herself. and now she's realizing her dreams. Good for her! |

| Joel Plaskett – Waiting To Be Discovered Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I could comment on every one of these songs, but anyway this older one will always be one of my favorites. Such imagery. I think I’m much too biased; I’m a fan of Joel Plaskett and the Emergency. Their music never ceases to alter my perspective on things. I’m an admirer of any song that can do that. And anyway I like the lyrics. I’m always like oh that’s clever. I like that. |
