I like how you're all saying that this is the best song by TDG. I think that "Life Starts Now" is by far the best rock album of 2009 in my opinion, and by far the best album I have bought this year. Why? Rock bands like Boys Like Girls, Hedley, Faber Drive have left their alternative-rock styles and turned into some electronica/dance sound, which I appreciate them for trying something new. I think Three Days Grace is one of the (if not, the only) rock band that recently came out with a new album but kept their old genre style and cranked it up, which is personally why I enjoy this album so much! Plus the tracks are just damn catchy and aggressive! |

this is a love story obviously, there's no chemistry going on. Anna Delane loves Mike, but he doesn't. She tries to get his attention but he doesn't follow through. She finally realizes this at the end and she's depressed. "I guess that's the way it goes on a solo love mission..." The chorus points out that even though we know that relationships and love are always complicated, "a punch in the gut", and even though we know it's going to break our hearts, we still want to love. |

Same with me. This was the first song I heard from Adam. That's when I began to fall in love with his music. What's so unique about Adam is that his lyrics and sound paint a full picture in your mind, and this makes me relax whenever I feel sad/stressed/low self-esteemed. |

WOAH. I just read this online. FABER DRIVE ZACKTAYLOR.CA INTERVIEW... New album, two new members - What is the real reasons behind the former members leaving Faber Drive? Red Bull left because he didn't want to be in a touring band and wanted to get married and have a real job. Hinsley quit because he had a beautiful little girl named Emma and wanted to be there for her 100 percent of the time. Poncho quit because he said he wasn't happy and had personality issues with me and has always been the leader of the bands he's been in. He also said he wouldn't have done some things the way I did them but couldn't pin point what those things were. So basically I learned that Faber Drive lost 3 of its members and got new ones, and I guess that the new members had a more dance/electronica influence. THAT definitely changes things.. and PLEASE IGNORE MY PREVIOUS COMMENTS!!! I'm gonna have another listen-through for Faber's new sound and stuff, so give me time, will ya? Anyways, the song is about.. idk. having fun! just get up and dance your ass off! |

I was on Boys Like Girls' PV and I read a comment.. It said that "the band signed to a major record company, this song "Love Drunk" or any other song by BLG wasn't written by these guys." The guy said the same with Fall Out Boy. OK I did some surfing around to discover that the comment was a bit over-exaggerated. First of all, Boys Like Girls is signed to Sony Music. Not Universal, not Hollywood, not Disney. I know artists that come from that record label and there's no way that BLG can't be promising. But let's take Interscope, for example. I read it somewhere, but I forgot which one: Lady Gaga or Nicole Scherzinger, they write songs for other artists within the record label. But that's all I know so far who does that (oh, and Billy Ray writing Miley's songs, too). Right now I'm listening to Love Drunk on their PV, and I got to say, it does sound like the chorus to "Somebody Told Me", but this song is pretty alright. |

OK I don't usually criticize Canadian rock, especially from the fact that I'm Canadian and I believe that Canada is home to one of the best modern punk, pop and rock bands I know. So anyways, here it goes. I listened to the 50 second sample of this song on their Myspace. Seconds into it, my eyes widened. The question in my mind: what happened to the pop punk/alternative Faber Drive I knew?! I was so disappointed. This song G-Get Up And Dance ripped off The New Cities. The sound change is as disappointing as The Stereos. It's great that bands change their sound every time they plan a new album, but this change went too far, that it doesn't sound like Faber Drive anymore. (Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. You may not agree with me but this is what I think. lol) |

just like ???? in the sky [?????? in the sky] -> I'm hearing "just like the rain that's in the sky", it makes sense because the lyrics after says "it falls down tonight" I recall the ????? in me and I'm trying to lose this memories -> I heard "I recall the LOVE that's in me" Back to me, comeback to me (x5) [???????????????????????) -> never understood what was being said, either. =P this is a very awesome song, though! |

okay so i read that there are two versions of the song. in the bridge of the song, "And i, Can't lie still When theres someone else beside you And i, Can cry still Cuz i'm all alone this time" - this is the demo version. "And I can't lie still When there's someone else beside you And I can't lie still Cuz I'm all alone this time" - this is the album version. am i correct? |
