| As I Lay Dying – Through Struggle Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I believe it's about how he finally rid himself of someone or something that only caused him pain. And now that it's gone he can rest peacefully again. As I Lay Dying was easily the best live show I've ever seen. |

Beautiful song. I'm pretty sure it's about her son. |

| Norther – Blackhearted Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Okay, it sounds like he's talking about someone who strives to be perfect and probably resents people for their flaws rather than accepting them. Because of this, they are actually going in the opposite direction from perfection and moving towards hell. |

| Norther – Death Unlimited Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
It almost sounds like this song is in the point of view of death itself. And he's saying that death is a gift more than anything because it takes away the suffering that comes with living. Great song. |

| Norther – Nothing Left Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Yeah, basically what he's saying is at first is that he wants to kill himself to end his pain. But then when he goes through with it, he sees that nothing is better than it was before, and now he is still just a lost soul. |

| Norther – Frozen Angel Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I could be totally wrong... But when I read this, it seems to me that they used to be in love, but now it's gone even though they're still together, so all they have left is death. I'm not sure...Something like that. |

| Flyleaf – Broken Wings Lyrics | 16 years ago |

This song is beautiful. I don't think it's necessarily about death, per se. I think that it's about someone that means so much to you, that you don't even know how to express it the right way, and you never want them to leave because you're so happy when you're with them. |

| Flyleaf – Breathe Today Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
First of all, whether a Christian band or not, I've found that many of Flyleaf's songs can be interpreted in many different ways. As for this song, I believe it's about someone who just lies all the time, and only makes up more lies when there's a chance that they'll get caught in their lies. And that this way of life is only suffocating that person. And when she says to "breathe" it seems that she means that that person should free themselves from thier lies and face up to the truth. |

| Evanescence – Everybody's Fool Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This is literally the perfect song for what I'm going through right now. Someone that everybody loves and seems so perfect... Yet you know their true side, and you can't understand how everybody is so blind to it. Evanescence is an amazing band. |

| Avenged Sevenfold – M.I.A. Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I don't know if anyone's said this or not, but I really don't think this is about the war in Iraq at all. I personally believe that if it is about one specific war that it's about Vietnam. "I walk your land but don't belong, two million soldiers cant be wrong." "Nobody tells me all the reasons were here, I have my weapon so there's nothing to fear." These lines along with a few others make it seem like the soldier doesn't know why he's fighting or if he should be fighting at all. That was the attitude during the Vietnam War. Many soldiers didn't know why they were even fighting, and they felt more like invaders than saviors. The citizens of America also more strongly opposed the war than during any previous war, and they didn't consider the veterens of Vietnam heroes the way they did other veterens. |
