thats a good point and i know where your coming from. but this is talking about the end times. when you read revalations. its talks about how He will come with vengence. does he not? In this case he's taking revenge for us, for his children. for all satan's put us through. this song may be pushin it to some but its just kickin satan in the teeth man. its basically Carmen's "champion" on steroids. in the end God wont forgive satan, He's gonna throw em in hell. the whole reason why there is a hell, is for this one moment. Oh, sleeper is just thinkin outside the box, reminding us that we dont have to be afraid or worry. bc God is in control, and He will be the victor in the end. |

I agree with the whole rapist deal. but for the chorus i think this could be for anyone that thinks that their sins are too much, too big for God to forgive. "You can't see fairness as your clarity. If justice you seek, in death it should be."-is God saying He knows the man wants to change, and by that he can forgive him. but if that man doesnt give in, bc of the guilt and he chooses to NOT give up to God. death is will be is end (hell) in the end its God who just wants you to be able to understand theres no sin to big, crazy, nasty for him to forgive. |

My favorite on the album.... next to FINISHER I think this is being "reborn"or "born again". So if you are the new breed scream, "I am Immortal in you!" -being invincible in God "Please teach me life lived fearlessly and i swear I'll make a stand here, between the angels and animals and fear nothing." as you live this life of the "born again" -new breed- you learn from your preacher, youth pastors. I think this song is saying that in order to find/return to our solace, our safe havens, God. we need to listen to his "go to the desert" where we surrenderd to God in the first place(hence to the sand we return). Because with out his voice, his help, we are hopeless, filled with chaos. "We're powerless to your voice And No longer seeming so, shattered, broke and all alone" side note, "Who do I belong to?
