For me, Hey Jupiter it's a declaration of a girl who's dropped by her boyfriend. He become something very important in her life (Jupiter reference) and now that he decided to leave her, she's questiong his real intentions. She wanted to be rescued in any form and any man who try it became a true hero. In her intent to get back with a guy many women do stupid things... even being humillated, like she said: "And this little masochist is lifting up her dress". |

Talking about the painter... I think she's too involved with his work. Musical industry can get you out from your own life. When she says "I'm a lonely painter... I live in a box of paints" maybe she's talking about his life totally dominated by his music... Curious... Maybe that push her to give to adoption her daughter, as she said in "Little green"... You're sad and you're sorry, but you're not ashamed... Little Green have a happy ending. |

This song is so honest. It's a public way to say, "I love you so much, but I can't be with you". A contradiction... like love itself. Even his mother tell her "be prepared to bleed". I think this man is an artist with very issues in his head... a very strong character who always will be in conflict with her. This song have one of the greatest lyrics I've known. Esta canción es demasiado honesta. Es una forma pública de decir "Te amo mucho, pero no puedo estar contigo". Una contradicción, como el amor mismo. Incluso su madre le advierte que "esté preparada para sangrar". Pienso que este hombre es un artista con algunos problemas en su cabeza... un caracter fuerte que siempre estará en conflicto con ella. Esta canción tiene una de las mejores letras que conozco. |

Escuchar a Ximena es volar a un mundo honesto. Es escuchar la voz intrínseca que uno mismo contiene. "No vuelvo más" es un grito por la reivindicación. Siento que en sus versos hay un llamado al reconocimiento. Que a pesar de todos nuestros defectos podemos ser valorados de alguna u otra forma.
