This song hit me the first time i heard it, not only the piano but when i was listening to it I actually wanted to pay attention to it and the lyrics made me feel like even though I may be a failure in the things I want to have or complete I know that there is someone who can be proud of me for my good qualities. |

That could be true, one of his family members was going through a drug addiction and he is probably pointing out the feelings and pain that person had felt. He probably tried to help but I guess its too late seeing that that person is already gone. Another theory o mine would be that some people say that the lyrics was written from one of his familys members that was going through that, maybe a journal was writted about his life and it was improved into lyrics |
