I'm that kind of person who keeps everything inside. I can't express. Some months ago, I fell in love. And it's getting better, because of him. He makes me wanna share everything I feel. Like everybody else who commented: I'm so totally in love with this song. I can totally relate. 'Please forgive me If I act a little strange For I know not what I do Feels like lightning running through my veins Every time I look at you' It's like you're feeling so much, you can't control, you've got to say something, you can't keep all those intense feelings all to yourself. But you just don't know how, all words are falling short. You feel the need to explain what you're feeling, cause you maybe feel like the other person doesn't understand or maybe you get the feeling he or she isn't loving you back. I can relate :) It's absolutely beautiful. |

First I didn't really get this song. But after listening it over and over again, I have to agree with you all. It's about her seeing a future with this guy, and to him it's just like an average love. He doesn't take it as seriously as she does. There's just one line I still don't get. 'Concrete coloured buildings all grow stale' Does someone know what's meant by that? |

I agree. It totally is my favorite one on Apparently Unaffected. In my opinion this song is about lying to yourself. I know Maria wrote it about her eating disorder, but I think it's about lying to yourself in every situation possible. This song is about finally opening your eyes and being honest to yourself. I guess that's the most important thing in life, keeping yourself honest. |
