I seriously think this song has a lot to do with God and Cove's beliefs. Mormons believe that their bodies are gifts from God and that they should respect them physically.. that goes for health and being chaste. Mormons believe in the reserection which is literally the reunifacation of body and spirit just like how Jesus reserrected. As far as saying "was there a price set before" that has a deep meaning as well.. there is a scripture in the new testament (Corinthians 6:19-20) which says our body is like a temple and we are bought with a price (the blood of Christ, Christ's death and reserection according to mormons makes it possible for everyone to overcome death as well) it says to glorify God in our bodies and in our spirits because they are Gods gift to us. This song is amazing and i love it becaus im a Mormon! |
