Its really strange how so many people have commented on this song and can relate to it in so many different and simalar ways to others. Alot of people can say their words and at least they spent the time to type all they did for this song. Its amazingly true in my life. But the only different thing in my relationship with this song is that im still with him, my Black Rose. He still feels like so much can hurt him and tells me all of it. Being open to eachother in a relationship with anyone is the best thing to do for you both. "I tried to save you from yourself I felt every high and low now the lows have drowned the highs away now there's no where else to go" This part felt to me in my situation that whenever we were together i could help him only to a point he would healed only for that time. "Black rose your thorns are cutting into me for the last time Black rose I watched your petals wilt away I couldn't bring you back to life" Also in these lyrics, when it says 'Black rose your thorns are cutting into me', I see that like I can see his happiness at the point in time but when hes gone It hurts me to know how much hes in pain with his home life. As we both have a bad household to live in and can't wait to be able to run away with eachother. 'You were always where the sun could never go' He loves being in the darkness. Its because he told me that when he was going through the state he was in it made him feel so much more sercure than ever. 'I never wanted you to have to be alone I never wanted him to be alone therefore he wouldnt have to be the way I found him ever again. But I always wish that I could be there for him all the time when i know I can't and it makes me so upset to think of what could be happening at his house. 'But I couldn't find a way to help you grow Black Rose' I want to be able to help him and maybe in teh near future i can. But at the present time I useless. That is what I think I am to him but maybe Im not. Maybe me just being there for him is all he needs in life. This song is amazing and as I said everyone has their own view of it and I just wanted to say how I interpret this song in my own life. I want to help him grow, my black rose. I like the way you think teck92 What you said i rekon pretty much covers it all Gettng over a relationship and knowing you cant find better than the one you just had to let go of. I can't imagin having to get over someone like that and knowing you could never find true love again. Loving someone has alot more to it than some people see from the physical side and just saying those 3 words 'i love you' They only mean something when you say it like you mean it and show them that you mean it. |
