i think it's about how petty the things are that we can sent to jail for or fined for or things like that. she's just saying how "god" is probably sitting there laughing at us and the way our whole world works. like she's saying are you really such a BAD BAD person if you drive your car without insurance. and also do you think he really wanted christians to be white or do you think he prefers other types of skin colour? dunno if im right. |

i think this is song is about ignorance and how you start to realise things as you get older and older. it's about how when she "grows up" she'll take control and go where she wants and be her own person but for now she'd like to stay young and unaware in a place she feels happy. and the more she founds out about how crap the world is the less she cares because she's all ready lost all trust in society in a whole. that's exactly how i've been starting to feel this past year. |
