I think Moz is writting about the difficulties he went through after he finished school and how he had no direction but he knew of school mates who were doing exciting things with their lives some even doing what he wish he could like playing in a band. I think the reference about the car is his way of saying "take me with you" maybe like under your wing. and then i think "i just want to be tied to the back of your car" is him exaggerating his desire to be going somewhere in life, even if its in such a crude manner. |

So I really think this song is about how he's straight and trying to have a normal relationship but people are so against it because they insist he's homosexual.
By the way that is sarcasm and i think its called for because everyone keeps thinking his songs are about his sexuality or more sepecifically, homosexuality.
Refering to the song again, couldn't this be about even and interracial relationship? anything but sexuality. Not that homosexuality doesnt apply but thinking deeper... |
