| Hey Ocean! – Vagabond Lyrics | 15 years ago |

| Hey Ocean! – Vagabond Lyrics | 16 years ago |

So Shad raps crazy fast. I tried to write down what I could but was pretty hard. If anyone wants to help fill in the blanks that would be awesome! As far as an interpertation... the title says it all! It's about being a Vagabond. :) |

Very cute, simple song. I really enjoy the flute/whistling, great way to end the tune. It's just a song about friendships and how precious they are. :) |

| Hey Ocean! – Fifteen Words Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I'm pretty sure the second verse is Is she an angel or a fly far too close to a flame Either way her wings are burnt, unless she learns to turn and fly away. A sad song. I agree with summerpenguin I think it's about a girl who is searching for love but just can't seem to find it find it. However, I feel like the piece of paper their refering too is her suicide note, which is why the fifteen words are so significant. And the end it appears as though shes commited suicide. "So close, so near the end/We don't and we pretend/But we know" She gave until she gave up. And now she's with the perfect man. |

Love this song! Pretty straightforward meaning. |

| Hey Ocean! – Liar Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Okay, here's my breakdown of the song. To me, the first verse pretty much sums up the entire meaning. This person feels unworthy of the love that their recieving because they're lying about who they are. They make up these tales because the truth is "stale" in their mind. But they try to convice themself that the lies they're telling are the truth. Because they want to believe the person they're pretending to be is really them. Hence, "you use this gift in denial". Or something like that. |

| Hey Ocean! – Alleyways Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I agree with onomatopoeia, I think this song may be about taking chances or going against the grain. Instead of "competing with other people", just going at your own pace on your own way. Your own path. | |
| Honor Society – No Win Situation Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Sad song, falling in love with your best friends girlfriend/boyfriends best friend. And wishing you were the one that saw her first... Now if you get together, you jepordize your friendship. If you don't... you could be losing the love of your life. No win situation. :) |

| Honor Society – This Bed Is An Ocean Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
"This bed is an ocean" : Picture the girl, as the coastline. You're trying to get there... but you have no idea which way to swim. You're stuck right in the middle of no where with her. Everything else is pretty straightforward. :) |

| Honor Society – Unpredictable Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
This songs meaning is pretty obvious. It's about having a romance when you were younger, and promising that you'd continue where you left off after you finish college. However when you come back, you realize that everythings changed, and it's not the same as it was before. When you left you thought that everything would start right where you left off, but it hasn't, and you're right back where you began. Now the person that you thought would wait for you as moved on, and you're wondering what would have happened if you stayed together, and how sometimes things don't always go the way as planned. Honor Society <3 |

| Honor Society – The Takeover Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Yeah, it's pretty straightforward. It's about being in a relationship, but realizing you have feelings for someone else. You love whoever you're with, but for some reason, you don't feel the spark anymore. | |
| Honor Society – See U In the Dark Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I LOVE LOVE Honor Society. I really wish I didn't have to wait until August before they come to Canada. Anywho, the meaning is pretty obvious. It's about realizing that your into your best friend. |

| Honor Society – Two Rebels Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I'm surprised no one has commented yet, great song, great band. I think it's about two people being in a "model" relationship, sort of like the cliche "it" couple that everyone looks up to and doesn't expect anything abnormal from. "What should we do now that we're caught in the middle of the spotlight?" So, instead of being what everyone else expects them to be, they decide to run away from their "spotlight". Now instead of being what everyone else expects, and living life the way they're used to... they decide to try something new and love each other the way they want to. In other words, become two rebels. Rebeling from what everyone else expects. "We had our whole life scripted But we tossed it to the side Those words can't tell us nothing Come on baby let's improvise" So the song is asking whether they trust them enough to throw it all away, and live live on their own for a change. :) |

| Honor Society – Why Didn't I? Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I love Honor Society! This song is the story of a girl and a boy who go to the same college/university. He notices her for the first time and instantly feels something for her, but as he was working up the nerve to talk to her she got away. He starts imagining what life could have been like with her, and asks himself "why didn't I". Everything else is pretty much narrated :) Of course, it ends with them getting pretty cozy in the fall ;) |

| The Weepies – Stars Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Yes, I totally understand the pregnancy thing. Beautiful song, nonetheless. | |
| The Weepies – Hideaway Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| For me, this song means that no matter how great something/someone is theres always a point where they need to hide. Sort of a poetic approach to "Nobody is perfect". I love the Weepies, their immagry is fantastic. | |
