Liar Lyrics
I feel like I don't deserve the love that I receive
'Cause I'm a liar
Telling tales, disguise how stale the truth is
But you use this gift denial
And you do, yeah you do
It's easier to be somebody else
When you hardly even know yourself
Oooh
I feel like I don't live up to all that I believe
I'm a liar
Everytime I try this feeling builds and it's a guilt that I aquire
And I do, and I do
Yeah, I do
It's easier to be somebody else
When you hardly even know yourself
It's easier to be somebody else
When you hardly even know yourself
Oooh

I hoep I got it all right :\
I like this song.. I think it's about someone who's disappointed in who they are so they put on a facade to try and fool people into believing that they're someone that they're not.
Okay, here's my breakdown of the song.
To me, the first verse pretty much sums up the entire meaning. This person feels unworthy of the love that their recieving because they're lying about who they are. They make up these tales because the truth is "stale" in their mind. But they try to convice themself that the lies they're telling are the truth. Because they want to believe the person they're pretending to be is really them. Hence, "you use this gift in denial".
Or something like that.
