This is my favorite song. I love it. The instruments sound amazing. It's about someone who is in denial of his sins. He thinks that denying his sins will make them go away, but he realizes that this is not true. The line, "I had a dream last night that everyone was trying, Subconciously I knew it was a lie" Shows that the person in question is somwhat pessimistic about the world's tenacity. The person, in the end, showed that he knew that he needed to be honest and if he didn't that others would suffer for him. I think that Tom was trying to signify that the people of the word need to take responsibility for it's problems or else the rest of us and also th very few who are completely innocent will suffer unjustly. |

Beautiful song, Who did Tom write this for? My friend was really depressed. She was going to kill herself. She had done somthing that she thought would ruin her life forever. She came to school and told me that she loved me and that she wouldn't be coming to school tomorrow. I cried for her and told her to listen to this song and she did. And she decided that if I cared enough about her to try to save her that she had a reason to live. She came to school the next day. And she is still my best friend, 3 years after the incident. |
