| The Black Dahlia Murder – Warborn Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| i think rather than talking about a specific war or a battle between 2 different religions it is about some kind of demonic army slaughtering their way across the world. it says "with a vigor unholy i fight to my doom" which implies that the soldier may be possesed. | |
| Lamb of God – Omerta Lyrics | 17 years ago |

| Lamb of God – The Black Dahlia Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| the lyrics are about how fucked up humanity is but the title is a reference to the black dahlia murder where a woman was cut in half and had her face cut open | |
| Lamb of God – Black Label Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| the song is not gibberish and not something they wrote while trashed on black label beer/whisky whtever. the black label is the label given by society to people who are different and who see things differently, in this case it refers to randy (a metalhead and 'freak' of society). the song is talking about randys hatred for humanity because of its ignorance and desire to conform. its about how humanity forces outcasts to be lonely and therefore hate it. the last 2 lines clearly show a hate for humanity. if you need further proof that randy hates humanity just read his comment in the sacrament booklet | |
| Lamb of God – Laid to Rest Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
randy has said himself that the song is a narrative of a murder victim coming back and driving his killer to destuction "If there was a single day I could live A single breath I could take I'd trade all the others away" is the victim saying that if he could live one more moment it would be the moment when he taks revenge "Console yourself, you're better alone Destroy yourself, see who gives a fuck Absorb yourself, you're better alone Destroy yourself" basicaly the victim taunting the killer "I'll chain you to the truth, for the truth shall set you free I'll turn the screws of vengeance and bury you with honesty I'll make all your dreams come to life, then slay them as quickly as they came Smother another failure, lay this to rest" this verse is the victim threatening to haunt the mind of the killer and destroy him from within |

| Dark Tranquillity – Inside the Particle Storm Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| its definately about the end of human life but the way it mentions dark matter and "ages collide into nothingness" make me think it may be something bigger, perhaps the end of the universe and all existence in some apocalyptic explosion like another big bang. an explosion is essentialy a storm of particles | |
