I think rcm034 has it right on, except I think "where oceans bleed into the sky" is an image of a post-apocolyptic world where everything is grey and you can no longer see the line of the horizon, because the sky and ocean are the exact same colour: grey. |

I know that the literal meaning might be about some things watching a person and no matter what the person does he can't find them.(even though he knows that they are there) Anybody have suggestions? I have been wondering about this for some time... |

I agree with all of that, but I also think that Kryptonite could refer to Superman(wasn't that his only weakness?) if so....then, America's weakness is kryptonite or money or an assortment of things. ALso, the parts of carbohydrates and lattes, I think refer to the obesity problem in our country. |
