Steam Powered Giraffe – Brass Goggles Lyrics 12 years ago
I love the video for this song. They basically do a sing-a-long and The Rabbit tells you to follow the pug but not the other bouncy things that will come on the screen and bounce around the lyrics. They are such great showmen!

System of a Down – U-Fig Lyrics 13 years ago
I haven't read all the way down the comments, yet, but you come closest to what I think is the meaning. The "flag waving ignorant geeks" are obviously those who think that being patriotic means going out and fighting wars. SOAD is completely against warfare and is so clearly bashing the war machine that the US and it's "patriotic" supporters force on the peace-full minded in this country and other parts of the world.

I think that the first post was very insightful but I agree with a couple of other posters that say it's either about Iraq or 9/11.

I think The singer is America and the girl is the rest of the world that the US is always claiming to be able to help. Instead they just end up screwing things up and letting the rest of the world suffer the consequences (the rest of the world can include regular working Americans that have to suffer through things like unemployment and high gas prices for instance).

"And you're my lover, you pay me," = countries that get in bed with the US so to speak and pay us with goods, trade, or other things for our protection
"Twice my size",= we are relatively a small country compared to the rest of the world
"And on your knees you lay,
In my thighs" = other countries basically subjugate themselves for the approval and protection of the US.

In response to what droste said:
"...i thought it was more about poperazi and Americas obsession with celebrity's that dont do crap..."
regarding the lyrics: "why dont you go and photograph everthing that ever passed in time? "
I have to disagree, I think he's referencing the fact that we, as a society, are obsessed with pictorially capturing everything in nature even though we don't care enough to physically preserve them. We are a nation of lazy conservationists. It's too much work to actually change our way of life so we aren't contributing to global warming "so why don't [we] go and photograph everthing that ever passed in time?"
