I agree except the killer part. I mean many meanings can be applied here. For instance, I got the lack of peer pressure where "light the torch" was smoking pot. Where it can be destructive, but his friends just stand idly by and let him.
And so ya know, there is no "best at this" if thats what you believe then believe it haha. :) |

This is personally my favorite song on To The Pain. I believe the lyrics are pretty straight forward. Although I don't understand the line "With flaky motherfuckers and stool pigeons." |

This song is grand, its simply put a song about nerds sticking together to keep from being picked on, Ocarina Of Time is a Zelda game and as the song goes to talk about, its about telling someone to step off. |

I believe the common idea here is correct, I just want to point out the linkage of the second to last verse talking about where the birds sing which has a common element with Mushroom River. Pretty sweet stuff. |

So if I am reading this right I believe the song is about a girl that got raped and it was horrific. The later one of her male friends is trying to keep her from just sinking deeper into depression and trying to get her to sort of rejoin society. He then goes to comfort her by saying something like "Everyone hates the guy, we promise we feel as strongly as you do" with the lines
"And I never claimed to understand
What happens after dark
But my fingers catch sparks at the thought of touching you
When you're wounded"
And then the next part is about her sort of feeling attractive again and everyone is rooting for her because as far as I know, rape victims don't feel attractive after the event. So the group of friends tells her to
"Well you're walkin' round shaking that thing all day
And then you walk on baby walk on
You walk on"

I think IAmLegend hit it on the head, the obvious is about a vampire and it is clear, but the meanings can be applied to many things. Maybe Schuylar just likes to apply other meanings to the supernatural. Either way, the song is grand. :D He Is Legend FTW. |

I believe this song is about a weight, a something that is holding a person down and they can't figure out why they are being burdened by it. In the end they decide to show their flaws with the line "I don't know exactly why I'm hiding." Its grand. All with the overtone of a vampire or supernatural being. This whole cd rocks because of the legitimate meanings and the overtone. Its like Stranger Danger and Everyone I Know has Fangs. |

This song is so funny. I guess anything mixed over The Ghost Busters theme has some merit. I don't like rap, but some rare tunes are awesome. Just like silentj said, the meaning is obvious. |
