This post is 100% for sure about Collin McElroy, Conor's cousin who committed suicide in 2001. Collin is Ian's brother and Conor wrote this song for both Ian and Collin. Collin was a heroin addict and couldn't deal with his homosexuality and had a lot of problems stemming from that.
